Midwest Championship Wrestling
Midwest Championship Wrestling has been around for a long time.  At one time it was a testing area for wrestlers just entering the American Wrestling Alliance or as we called it the AWA.  Men like Crusher, Bruser, Mad Dog Vachon ,Ox Baker and maybe one of the most well know wrestlers to pass thought the doors was Road Warrior Animal.

Over the years men and women came and went some onto bigger and better things and some that never made it past the opening matches of a show. But one thing can never be said about MCW, IT can never be said that the workers did not have heart, or a love for the business.

It took a lot of heart and love to go thought what some had to go thought. In the summer it was 110 to 130 in the barn that the training was done in, and in the winter that same barn was used and even at 30 below the training went on. I know was was trained in that barn at 30 below and took chops from Ox Baker, that is something I will never forget.

The company was put on the shelf for 15 years until Bob Pence and Scott Dolquist, after seeing some things in the Indy wrestling in the area that they did not like made a call to the former Owner of MCW and Ringside Wrestling Promotions Rocky Brewer and asked if they could use the name and start the company back up. He agreed and MCW was alive once again.

Over the past three years we have had our ups and downs but just like all good things you just can't keep us down. And like all the workers that have passed though MCW we have the heart to keep this company alive and well.

Over the next few months there will be changes being made all of which are for the best and all to help the company grow to be one of the best in the Midwest once again.
